WORKER SAFETY

Worker safety is the top priority. These resources provide regulatory requirements.

  • Do not use leaf blowers and any other unfiltered equipment that will put ash into the air when workers are present. Workers with skin sensitivities should wear gloves, long-sleeved shirts and long pants.  Maintain good food safety practices, including workers should wash their hands and change their gloves as frequently as necessary to maintain proper hygiene.  In areas affected by ash, advise workers to consider wearing N95 respirator masks as a precaution.
