Wage Requirements

Minimum Wage & Weekly Ag Overtime Threshold Chart

Effective January 1, 2017, the minimum wage for all industries will be increased yearly throughout 2022 (small businesses have until 2023); in addition, the threshold for ag overtime will be reduced annually through 2022 (small businesses have until 2025).

*Wage rate shown is the maximum rate possible, actual rate to be determined. After the state minimum wage reaches $15 an hour for all employees, the rate will be adjusted annually for inflation based on the national consumer price index for urban wage earners and clerical workers (CPI-W).
