Tips for a Successful Scholarship Application

Created just for the children of California's strawberry fieldworkers, this scholarship program has awarded more than $2 million dollars towards hundreds of hard-working students' higher education.



  • Review the Frequently Asked Questions (están disponible en español tambien).
  • Read the application carefully for all the requirements
  • Be sure to obtain original signatures on letters of recommendation and transcripts
  • Provide OFFICIAL transcripts—ORDER EARLY! It often can take 2-3 weeks for your school to provide this document
  • Start filling out your application early. You can start your online application now save a draft, and return to complete it later
  • Submit all of your supporting documents together - either all within the online application or all by mail. If not submitted all together, your application will be considered incomplete.
  • Review your application before hitting the submit button
  • Save the electronic confirmation of your submitted application
  • Monitor your email after submitting your application - this is the primary way we send messages
