Get Active America

The California Strawberry Commission is a proud sponsor of Get Active America!, a nationwide effort to help Americans get physically fit and eat well. Participating health clubs across the country will be open free to the public May 17-23, 2004 (visit www.getactiveamerica.com to find a club). The Commission is also conducting a sweepstakes in participating Los Angeles, Houston and Dallas clubs. Read below for complete rules. California Strawberry Commission Sweepstakes - Rules
No purchase necessary to enter or win. Purchasing does not increase chance of winning. Sweepstakes open to legal residents of the United States, 18 years of age or older, residing in Los Angeles CA, Houston, TX or Dallas, TX areas.

1. TO ENTER: Beginning May 10, 2004 through May 31, 2004, entry blanks will be distributed in the promotional marketing areas at participating Central Market, H-E-B and Ralph’s retailers, and participating Get Active America! health clubs. Complete the entry blank with your name, address, zip code, daytime telephone number, email address (if applicable) and the answers to the three simple questions. Entries may be deposited in special marked depositories at participating health clubs or participating retailers, or you may mail your completed entry to: Get Active America! c/o Ketchum, 1050 Battery Street, San Francisco, CA 94111. Limit one entry per mailing envelope. All entries must be deposited at participating retailers or health clubs or postmarked by May 31, 2004. Entries must be received at judging headquarters by June 7, 2004.

2. CONDITIONS: Incomplete, illegible, late, lost, damaged or postage due entries or entries with incorrect answers to the questions are void. By entering, entrants acknowledge compliance with these official rules including all eligibility requirements. All entries become the property of the California Strawberry Commission (“Sponsor”) and will not be returned.

3. SELECTION OF WINNERS: Winners will be selected in a random drawing under the supervision of Ketchum whose decisions are final and binding. The seven major prizes will be awarded from
all entries received and the balance of the prizes will be awarded on a regional basis (as outlined in rule #4). If any entry selected as a potential winner does not contain the correct answers to all three questions it will be disqualified and another entry will be selected.

5. NOTIFICATION: Winners will be notified by phone, mail or email. Prize Winners may be required to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability and Publicity Release (where legal). These documents must be signed, notarized and returned within fourteen (14) days of issuance of notification or an alternate winner will be selected. Failure to return such documents properly signed, notarized and completed or if the prize notification is returned as undeliverable will result in the winner being disqualified. Taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner.

6. ELIGIBILITY: Open to legal residents residing in any of the following marketing areas: Los
Angeles, CA, Houston, TX, Dallas, TX, 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Employees, and their immediate families and household members, of Sponsor, Ketchum, their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, advertising and promotion agencies and participating retailers and health clubs are not eligible. This sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. By accepting the prize, winner consents to the use of his/her name, biographical information, photographs and or likenesses for advertising and publicity purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited. By entering, entrants agree to defend, release and hold harmless the sponsor and their agents from and against any claims, action and/or liability for injury, loss or damage of any kind resulting from participating in this promotion or from the acceptance or use of prize awarded. Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility qualifications of the winner. US law governs these rules. No transfer or substitution of prize is permitted.

7. WINNERS LIST: For the name of the winner, available on or about June 7, 2004, send a selfaddressed stamped envelope to: Winners List, California Strawberry Commission, c/o Ketchum, 1050 Battery Street, San Francisco, CA 94111.
