Spring 2009 Request for Proposals (RFP)
The Spring 2009 Request for Continuing and Extension/General support funding is available for review. The California Strawberry Commission invites qualified researchers for public and private research organizations to request funding for projects that will directly benefit the California strawberry industry. Applied and basic research projects with clear benefits to California strawberry growers will be considered. For the 2008-2009 time period the California Strawberry Commission approved more than $1 million for research and extension proposals.

Important dates:
1) February 13, 2009 - RFP sent out
2) May 5, 2009- Deadline for submission of proposals
3) February 2010 - Release of funds for approved projects
