This project proposes a web-based teleoperated strawberry harvesting solution. The website contains three portals designated for pickers, farm managers, and technical administrators. Pickers are provided with an image of a strawberry for location identification. Farm managers visualize user inputs registered spatially and temporally on a graph. Technical administrators have access to website maintenance tools and can customize functionality for all users. The platform utilizes Amazon Web Services’ API Gateway, S3, Lambda, IoT Core, and Greengrass, which is a new Amazon service that allows remote access to a device. Furthermore, this project allows for user-defined data to be expanded upon with the use of machine learning and artificial intelligence.
