NOSB Activity on Organic Container/Greenhouse Production

The National Organic Standards Board (NOSB) is continuing to evaluate proposals for organic production of crops grown in greenhouses or containers. The NOSB aims to delineate the range of growing systems, from soil to soilless, and make recommendations on a middle ground within that range. Their goal is to bring the USDA organic regulations more in line with international organic regulations in order to improve trade and lessen confusion in the marketplace.
