New Laws and Regulations for Employers in 2019

The California Legislature passed several laws this year which will have direct impact on agricultural employers. Many changes are centered around sexual harassment prevention. As included is a phase-in timetable of minimum wage increases and the phase-out out of the 10 hour/day ag overtime exemption. It is important that all employers and HR representatives are familiar with these new regulations.
